About Us

We are Jim and Michelle Kutschat, and we were Iowa natives before relocating to Marcell, Minnesota.

Jim is the third generation of the Kutschat family who have been vacationing for many years in Itasca County in Northern Minnesota and he knows the area well. We live in a beautiful lake home on North Star Lake and enjoy the lovely Minnesota north woods life. We both transferred our Iowa real estate licenses to Minnesota and between us we have many years of experience in sales and real estate closings.

Jim's parents have a home on Deer Lake and his uncle owns a resort on Moose Lake and we have enjoyed being able to spend time with our family. In our spare time, Jim is an avid Muskie fisherman and enjoys hunting, snowmobiling, and spending time with his yellow lab as well as many other outdoor activities and Michelle enjoys fishing, gardening, walking, reading and enjoying the lake. The Kutschats are a friendly and dependable team who will work hard to sell your property or help you find that perfect property to buy!
